December 19th, 2014

As we all prepare for our winter time goings on I sit here at the end of a chapter here in Everett. This is our last day of school for 2014.

We’ve been reflecting on the past semester for this whole week, so today we are looking forward. What is our vision for the school?

I’ve created a rough vision:

The Agile Learning Center in Everett seeks to facilitate and support a safe space for communities to play and learn together.

ALC Everett does this by:

Offering Facilitated Space in which community members can actualize projects and games.

Developing Capacity within the community to support members to facilitate space, mentor children, and provide value.

Creating Shareable Value for the wider community.

Collaborate with the Agile Learning Center network and all other community groups that further our goal.

At the parents meeting other visions were shared and we discussed what worked and what could be worked on in the next term.

This has been a really great experience so far and I look forward to the next term.
