I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to get localhost working on my computer, basically spent all day doing that.
I was able to get a few intentions done. The main one was to build (with some help) a monument in the #nocheats server. I call it RNGsus the Redeemer.
It’s based on Christ the Redeemer which looks over Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
I also sent an e-mail to Valve Software, the company behind Steam, to see if I could get a tour with the kids. I’m interested in Valve because they run a flat organization much like how we organize in ALCs. You should check out their handbook (PDF)
I also helped out a bit with the Web Dev project.
Tomorrow is no electricity day! So our questions are all related to electricity and how much we love it.
What will you miss the most on power free day?
It seems too easy to say the computer, but I can’t think of anything more profound in my life.
